From China to your French warehouse. A French company pays import VAT itself in its return, not to customs, so clearance differs from other countries.
From China to Europe
Our partners load the goods in China and carry them to Europe in a container by sea, or by train.
Customs clearance in France
We arrange customs clearance. An import into France needs a VAT number valid in the EU and an EORI number, which is based on the SIREN number.
By truck across France
Our truck collects the goods at the port or terminal and delivers them to the address you give us, from Île-de-France to Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Paris and Lyon have their own page. But we deliver across the whole of France, from Brittany as from Alsace, and from there on across Europe.

The pages on French VAT carry a verification date of 20 Sep 2022 and present the EORI change as forthcoming; treat them as a starting point and check the current position with the French administration.
As elsewhere in the Union: the amount is determined by the common customs tariff, the value and the origin of the goods, usually as a percentage of the customs value. The EU rules are summarised on the page Transport from China to Europe.
